Stimulus Money: What Do I Need to Know?

The HITECH Act (Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act) appropriates approximately $19.2 billion in federal stimulus funds to accelerate the adoption of electronic medical records and the interoperability of health information technology. These stimulus funds are available to help you adopt new technology in your practice.

When it comes to qualifying for stimulus money, what you don’t know can cost you. Unfortunately, the requirements can seem confusing and the impact on your practice can seem unclear.

Join us for a free, online panel discussion demystifying the HITECH Act, the requirements for you to receive stimulus money, and the impact on your practice. The panel discussion will cover the following topics:

  • HITECH Act overview
  • Financial incentives for providers
  • Meaningful use
  • E-prescribing
  • The urgency to act now
  • Questions and answers
