Data Conversions
OfficeMate has experience in converting data from most other eyecare software systems as well as older DOS systems. Our staff of conversion specialists can convert your existing data and transfer much of it directly into OfficeMate— saving you both time and money.
If you elect to convert data from your existing software, OfficeMate Software Solutions provides convenient and cost-effective data conversion services to help your office transition smoothly from your old practice management system to OfficeMate.
Our conversion specialists have over 20 years of industry experience and have converted over one thousand third party and custom programs. Our standard conversions involve converting patient demographics including information such as name, address, city, state, zip code, phone numbers, social security number, and last exam date. If you require that additional areas be converted, we will outline your options for you.
Once the conversion agreement is completed and returned to OfficeMate Software Solutions, we will schedule a conversion date with you. On your conversion date, we will access your data via the Internet, extract it, and convert it into OfficeMate.
Concurrent to your data conversion you will receive your OfficeMate practice management software and attend your OSSU orientation class. Once you receive your software you can begin entering data into your set-ups as outlined in our Conversion Packet.
Once the data conversion is completed, we will, once again via the Internet, download the data directly into your system, and you can begin to fully use your OfficeMate practice management software.
