Completing the Care Cycle

Tuesday, July 27, 4:00pm EST
Friday, July 30, 8:00pm EST

Presenter: Valerie Manso
Course Description: We are all familiar with the cycles on our washing machines. “Regular” works for most loads. Then there is “heavy” for those loads that can take it. And then there is the “gentle” cycle for extra care loads. This course reviews the importance of completing the care cycle from eye health and the vision exam all the way through the dispensing of eyewear and contact lenses. In truth, transition of care, or the dreaded ‘optical handoff,’ is a requirement of successful practices. Yet all too often we use the “regular” or “heavy” cycle and things do not turn out as we would have liked them. ExamWRITER and OfficeMate can help us to use the “gentle” cycle more often and ultimately provide improved patient satisfaction. Don’t forget the fabric softener…
